Cut the Chase, love!

So maybe not all of us can get the ones we truly adore and love, and maybe that's why we chase. . . because the person we love isn't looking back at us, they're ignoring our feelings. Or in the worst case, they could be playing around with you(.. sounds ultimately wrong there, ahaha.)

Why is it that most of the people that chase after us, we still linger around them? Why?
Are we toying with them?

That, ladies and gentleman is the question. Why? Admit it, we all have that one person who we know is after us. Even if you don't, its still possible someone is after you. Its not like no one is after your beautiful little self, you know? Gurlfriend, I know what you're thinking. "Oh, no. No one is after me..." Take your depressing thoughts up your ***! You don't know that! Shoo, you can't know positively until they tell you someone is attracted to you. Anyway, a paragraph later about that...

So the answer to my questions above..

I believe the rationale why we still linger around them is because, well.. to put it bluntly.. we just indulge the thought about having someone glance at you and wonder, "Wow.. they are amazing." around. Do you get what I mean? You can cuddle, kiss, and hug them and they wouldn't have a problem with it.

Except.. oh wait, you two aren't together and oh wait! ... You have no affection for him that way whatsoever.
Yet we still do it. Its a bit fascinating, but its also so very devastating. More like, "Can't I cut the chase?"

The affection you give makes the other party feel more addicted and crave more from you, they want more and they want the label "in a relationship with.. -your name here-". It is a nice label, I must fess up to that. Ha.

Despite the warm snuggles, warm comforting, and loving (maaaybe sexual) words from that person, it truly isn't fair. Its not, one bit, okay. If you don't have feelings for that person, then cut the chase and tell them, "Its been cut." because what do you expect to happen?

To let this 'relationship' last forever without getting tied up in your own mess? No, I didn't think so!
Because when you do find someone who YOU adore, they're going to ask YOU "Who the hell is that?"
